My husband and I went to the Manchester YMCA because we wanted to start a gym membership and check it out and see if we liked it. I had been to the YMCA probably 11 years ago, so I hadn’t been in a long time my husband had never been. The guy named “ Jeff “at the Manchester YMCA was so rude, first he charged both of us for the day and then I said to him “ Day passes, they usually don’t charge for them do they? He said because I had been there before that I needed to be charged but I said “ My husband has never been here before.” So he did remove the charge for my husband. The guys attitude was just so “grumpy”. I asked him “ do you work here every day?” He said “yes,”I thought I won’t be coming here, I’d have to see him every day. We really wanted to get a gym membership but honestly to have someone out there at the front desk,that is that grumpy, he’s not really someone that should be working with the public.

Lifting equipment isnt great, but good enough. I do mostly free weights and was always able to squat, bench, deadlift, etc. Indoor track isn't great, but as far as i know one of the nicer ones in the area. Cardio equipment is decent. Sometimes it gets very crowded. But otherwise, great people and a good gym
