I spent two weeks here following a back surgery, friendly and knowledgeable staff from administration to the cooks and housekeeping. The staff works hard to make sure clients /guests needs are met. If I had to choose a place for my parents to be and not have to be concerned about their care this would be the place.

Personally, for the condition I've seen the clothes they are priced to HIGH!! You can find better condition clothing @ a garage/yard sale for lower prices!! Not to mention MUCH FRIENDLIER than the NON SMILING STONED FACED woman running the cash register!! I'd rather & I have traveled back to St. Helens to shop in the thirty store Top Notch I've gone there 2× that was ENOUGH for me

They have a nurse named sara...she told my aunt who is diabetic as well as a amputee, she Hope's her wounded amputated leg rights off!!!! She belittles people and laughs at residents who are clearly in pain and in need of severe help. Do not bring your loved ones to this facility. It is extremely hostile. Very disappointed in this care center and can NOT believe they treat the residents this poorly. I wouldn't even give them one star. Not sure how to report this. I've made the administration aware of several incidents and nothing has change..

This place is terrible. I worked here on contract. The Director of Nursing treats her staff like dogs. The Nurse Assistants are overworked and talked down to. The nurses aren't sufficeiently trained when they start, but are then reprimanded later for their mistakes. No matter how many concerns are brought to management they ignore their staff. So many people here only keep their jobs because there is no where else to work in Astoria. The staff cares so deeply for these residents, it's shameful for those in charge of the facility to mistreat them. If you bring your loved ones here please appreciate everything the staff is doing. They have NO support from management and most of them never even get to take breaks or go to lunch.
