This is definitely a place worth visiting. I got the Fish and Chips which was very delicious. I finished the entire plate with malt vinegar and the lemon slices. No ketchup was served, which means the fries were good enough to eat without. Although they seemed to lack a solid Porter or Stout selection, the Belgian ale I got there was excellent. Definitely a must-hit-once-food-stop of Berks County.

I haven't had the pleasure of visiting the pub, but, I have ordered and had delivered. The food is amazing. I am very picky about my crab meals. Ice had the ugly pretzel, crab dip and crab cake sandwich. All outstanding!!! Wish I could eat there more often. Major props and respect!!

We were lucky to get a table; we had no reservations. They sat us and we ordered appetizers. They were great. The staff was very nice. The food was Amazing! Their fries are out of this world! Definitely go here.

The Ugly Oyster Drafthaus was very cute! We had the Crab dip which was very good. It was served with bread, pretzels and sesame seed crackers. We tried the house oysters from Virginia which were good - had a slight grassy finish but a soft brine and plump meat. We also tried the Mapaque, from Prince Edward Island which had a heavy briny flavor and was quite delicious. We then had the steamed little neck class and snow crab legs. The clams were fantastic but the Crab legs were over cooked. We tried the hand cut french fries - we were excited for the malt vinegar on the table but the first bottle was not good (it was sitting in the window) and the second bottle was watered down. It was kind of disappointing. The garlic bread sides were good - missing the garlic so it was more like a buttery toasted bread. The other people we were with liked their entrees - the portobello mushroom sandwich and grilled chicken salad. Overall, the experience was pretty good - we would probably come back and give some of the other seafood options a try. The overcooked crablegs and bad malt vinegar are the reasons for the 4 stars.

No, TVs are limited. I would use maps for something that is more sports bar oriented down there.
No age requirement, but it is more of a bar type place. Nothing distasteful or negative-- it's just seems more like a tavern.
We’ve been told that Irish dancers will be coming through but we don’t have a timeframe on when. We do not take reservations on St. Paddy’s Day.
You can park on the street . After 6 you don't have to feed the meters. There are parking garages within 2 blocks.
Yes, they have a jukebox. It is connected to the Internet so you can play pretty much anything. It is next to the kitchen door.
