I have lived in Ridgefield for over a year after selling my business of 28 years. I strongly believe in supporting local small businesses and have always liked and appreciated the service I receive at this convenient corner market. But one staff member can change that in a single visit! I tried to find the manager but on three tries with different employees all saying they didn’t really know who it was or they have never seen one I am left to warn others of this condescending young man who would not give me his name. He has long dark, black, hair with a slight curl to it, he is the stocky one with long dark hair not the slim, skinny, one. Went I went to the register to purchase a beer I asked for two chicken thighs, he rang it up and looked at me waiting for me to pay. I told him I also had two thighs, his response was “look at the screen old man, they’re on the screen”. I said they are not bagged and in front of me. He said do you want them or not? Not I put my $20 back in my pocket and walked out. I still can’t get past a customer service person calling me an old man and thinking it was okay.me this happened about three weeks ago. I tried on three occasions to speak with the managers but coukd not get past any other staff members to point me in their direction, so this review is to hope the manager or the owner see’s it an know at least one staff member cost them my business and now my negative review is posted publicly. Lots of markets to shop at in the area, I will not go back to this local business. I will not spend my money somewhere while being called names.

Good for a quick need. I was excited by the ice cream selection. They actually had rainbow sherbet that my son wanted.

Love this little market. They used to have totally awesome chicken strips and Jojo's ,but now the chicken strips are spicy,sure wish they would get the money spicy ones back, we still love their Jojo's. The staff are always helpful and kind.

Nice family owned market. Always treated nice and a pretty impressive selection of goods given the size of the market. Staff is knowledgeable about what's on the shelves and they really care about their customers.
