Just kind of stumbled onto this place during a trip to this area. Waa intrigued by the name and the menu. Everything we had was very tasty! Great food, many options to choose from and great service!

It was my second time visiting Hula but my second visit wasn’t as impressive as first time. hula only served happy hour drinks on weekdays so we had to order food at regular prices. I was kind disappointed that the poke was served like somebody’s leftover - the portion was small and also there was sauce on the sides of the bowl so presentation was just lacking. Calamari was nice but small portion for the price too. Drinks are overall satisfactory. I would recommend people to visit here on weekdays.

Cool place in the heart of Old Town! A great variety of food and drink options. Fast, friendly, helpful service! We came in during Happy Hour and were able to get a table immediately! Bar was full, but dining room had open tables. We got the Taco meals-one Steak Taco meal-steak was very good. The other meal got one spicy shrimp taco-delish, and one Habanero Chicken—meh! Subbed Sweet Potato Fries-so yummy, for rice+beans! Love the flexibility and no up charge! The Spicy Hulla sauce is good, but not spicy! The Madagascar sauce is HOT!! I mixed the two and it was just right! Parking can be tight, but it’s free and if you’re willing to circle the block a few times you can probably get one right on First street! Definitely be back and recommend you give this place a try!

Went right before happy hour on a Tuesday and it wasn’t very busy. I ordered the jawaiian jerk pork plate and it was phenomenal! The flavor on the sauce was amazing and there was a slight crisp on the pork that was just perfect. The fruit salsa on the rice was so fresh and flavorful. The Plantains were cooked perfectly and the cornbread was also extremely good! I loved every bite! I also had the pineapple wine. It wasn’t as sweet as I thought but I was definitely able to taste the pineapple. This is a great happy hour stop for drinks and amazing food!
