We loved everything about Duck Soup. The staff was wonderful and made us very comfortable- our waitress Julia was especially great. Both the garden and the interior are beautifully decorated. The cocktails are lovely and the bartender went above and beyond when my Mom requested a passion fruit cosmo. The food was delicious and interesting- I especially recommend the duck.

Not my first time on San Juan Island, but my first time enjoying a meal at the caliber of the finest restaurants in America. Fabulous local ingredients, including the best oysters I’ve ever tasted! And really not that hard to get to, by car or taxi.

If you're looking for an excellent meal in San Juan island, skip anything on Friday Harbor and check out Duck Soup. When Halibut was in season, it was the best I've ever had. The vegetables are prepared almost perfectly, pork belly cuts like butter, clam chowder is off the chain, and the desserts are fab. The service here is also top notch. Emma is wonderful, informative, and a kind human. I can't stress enough that if you're looking for a great dining experience, you should first come to duck soup and then try everything else. You won't be disappointed in your selection. Don't forget to make your reservation today!

Had a great dinner experience here. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and great service. I loved the location; it was very convenient since we were staying at the B&B Inn to the Woods right down the road. I wish they had more seafood options though.
