The hotel is a bit dated and that can be overlooked. I really didn't care for the same dirty spots on the tile near the elevator and the same dirt in the hallway carpet all three days we were on site, Friday afternoon check-in, Sunday checkout. The room however was clean and they did have maid service with I was glad to see back. Also the staff that we did interact with were very helpful and seemed like they wanted to please their guests. Also, glad to see the hot breakfast back.

My partner and I stayed one night at Sleep Inn University in Las Cruces New Mexico. He got us checked in with no issue. The staff we encountered was nice and polite. Getting to our room it was clean and tidy from the front door to the bathroom. The only things missing was the microwave and small fridge. Usually those are hotel staples, but this place didn't have it. We relied on ice from the ice machine to keep our waters cold. There was ample parking on the lot, but we had to park on the hotel lot next door because our truck and U-Haul trailer would not fit on the Sleep Inn lot. We did eat a free hot breakfast the next morning and I was surprised by the selection. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, other breads and beverages. It was good to us and saved us some money as we were traveling through. This establishment was wheelchair accessible and great for families. The neighborhood was safe and we had no issues. P.S. The pics were taken upon us leaving the hotel therefore things were in disarray. #Tonetta

Nice bed and shower. The room could have been cleaner. There was cheese crusted on the remote and something ground into the carpet. The foyer had a layer of dirt/dust both days (but it is the desert). The windows in the foyer had been wiped but were smeared. The wifi password did not work but I did not seek assistance. Check in service was pleasant.

Positive: Good location, the gentleman who checked us in on Saturday evening was very professional and friendly, morning breakfast was good and the coffee was strong. Negative: Hotel's carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in week. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke - we are not sensitive to this but if you're someone who is, it would have been enough to set off allergies. Bathroom door frame was loose and nearly fallen off
