I've eaten at La Mexicana for years, when it was in Silver City and, now, Bayard. I've never been disappointed. The owner and his wife are great people, dedicated to good food, good service and offering a wonderful dining experience.

Ordered a carnitas burrito and it was pretty gross the meat tasted like it was not even cooked right my taco plate my tacos were soggy fell apart my beans were really watery and the rice didn't taste very good was upset cuz they couldn't smother my burrito with green chili sauce cuz supposedly it's only for the green enchiladas I will not ever order food from this place ever again

Our burgers were much smaller than the last time we ordered there, the neat patty was smaller than the bread, and the other ingredients were sparse. The fries were on the cool side, I have had that burger before and was happy with it. But Tonite we were disappointed, for $12 dollars a plate, and pay for sodas it was $29.67. Not feeling like it was worth it tonite

My husband & I were the only diners at 12:00. The chips weren't warm and the pork burrito I had was very dry, but my husband's California burrito had green chili sauce over it and it was good! Had 3 homemade pies offered too.

Food was disgusting..hardly any meat..charged 19 dollars for beef.fajitas and only have me 1 fajita shell.. only had 4 tiny pieces of meat zucchini squash, and tomatoes...highway robbery Never ever again

They had Carne Adovada on their menu last few times I was there and it was good, using 3 kinds of red Chile.
