Brown Bear Car Wash

Really disappointing to see that the self service bays will be going away at the request of Brown Bear. I’d really rather not have a drive through car wash ( there are already nearly 100 in this metro area for your company alone). I’ll have to find another car wash that appreciates car owners who want to wash their car themselves. Such a shame. I guess I can write to my local council in hopes that your permit is denied.

Good location—easy to get to right off 15th. The folks working there are really friendly. The tunnel wash cleans my car very well. I also like the vacuums—lots of space to use them and they’re easy to turn on (no tokens needed like with some other ones I’ve seen). The automated pay station going into the tunnel is really clunky and annoying though, that’s the only real downside.

I have been to car wash facilities all over the country and none have done as nice a job as this place does, especially on the rims. Mind you, I am picky and I trash my vehicle in the mountains on the regular. How this isn’t a five star wash is baffling to me. This is my Suby after coming back from the wash. It was totally covered in mud before and hadn’t been cleaned in months. Look at that shine!

I usually get 3-4 washes here a month but I won't be back to this or any other Brown Bear. The last wash that I got (May 1st) left three ENORMOUS scratches on my car; they extend from the tail light all the way across to the passenger door. I've washed and buffed it since, and it won't budge (the last photo was taken today). Needless to say I'm very disappointed and definitely do not recommend this car wash to anyone who cares about their paint job. I now either wash by hand or go to the touchless (!!) Aloha Car Wash in Bothell/Mill Creek which is hands down far better than any other BB I've been to — not to mention, you don't have to worry about their machines messing up the exterior of your car.
