Some nice easy trails here that do get a fair amount of use. The day we went was some what busy, but that is to be expected along the beach areas.

They've made a bunch of awesome changes to the trails in the area over recent years. Things like Annie's Canyon and foot bridges connected areas, like under the 5 freeway and near the nature center.

Make sure to see the visitors' center. The staff is very helpful.

The hike is pretty short from the street to the fork where you take either the moderate route or the strenuous route. The strenuous route will take you through the sandstone walls, and eventually lead you down the moderate route. Basically, it's a loop. Trekking though the sandstone walls was very scenic, but it can get very narrow. After taking the only ladder up to the top, you can take a panoramic picture of the lagoon below. Great hike for the family!
