I stayed there for an extended stay. Seems like they're always full now, especially during skiing and winter sports season. They did some upgrading and it's even better than before. Nice people.

RETHINK YOUR DECISION if you are considering staying here. The Crimson Hills Motel was the worse lodging my husband or I have ever had. Lady who checked us in wasn't pleasant to deal with (which is rare of the town of Parowan). The floor screeches with every step plus the walls are paper thin so you can hear basically every word said in the neighboring rooms also. I said "bless you" to one of my neighbors while inside my room and they thanked me back.... While there are some homeless living there permanently that were friendly, many were overly friendly and made going outside of the room uncomfortable every time.
We stayed multiple nights as we were already booked & paid for, but weren't happy about it obviously. They say they are pet friendly but what they mean is pet friendly to their permanent residence. We brought our 2 service dogs in training and the lady who checked us in spoke with us uncomfortably multiple times about our well behaved dogs when the permanent guests had dogs off leash regularly wandering around barking and were never spoken to. One of our "neighbors" was smoking a drug (not marijuana) in a pipe sitting straight across from the owners living quarters... The bed was completely awful. Enough said there. The curtain didn't block the light out which was really bright even in the middle of the night. The A/C only cooled the closest side of the bed leaving one of us with uncomfortable temperatures.
There is no defined parking spaces. While warming the truck up around 11am to leave for a mountain trip the man claiming to be The Crimson Hills owner came out to harass us because we were warming up our truck longer than he wanted and said "it just wasn't right" for us to do that. Did I mention the guy doing drugs right by our room or the guest they have staying there long term with a make shift "666" listed as their room number didn't get harassed by the owner? Very disappointed with the overall interactions there and will not be considering it as an option ever again.

We got to the hotel late at night and as we checked in and I looked around, I thought the place looked kind of dumpy and wondered what the room would look like. There wasn't very much room for cars to drive and it was kind of difficult to drive to our room. However, once we got inside I was shocked at how nice the room was. There were 2 large beds, a table, a bathroom with a shower and bath, and a small kitchen with a full size fridge and freezer. There was also a lot of space in the room to walk around. Then I was again surprised as I sat down on the bed and realized how comfortable it was. I highly recommend this hotel and it is a lot cheaper than the hotels in Cedar City and is only 20 minutes away.

The woman that helped us was incredibly kind and nice. We got in late that night (10 or 11 pm local time) and she was still awake to greet us and help us check in. When we called, she noticed the area code and updated us on the weather we could expect on our journey. Cash or card accepted The room was surprising for the price! Queen size bed, gas stove, full size refrigerator, complete working kitchen, nice furniture, etc. For the price we typically pay, we're used to grungy run-down rooms that don't feel safe or clean. This is NOT the case here. The effort put forth is evident. The motel is located just inside a small town right off of I-15. There isn't a large sign way up high in the air, and it isn't right off of the highway or main road, so you won't find this place just driving by. Any GPS service will bring you right to the door. It is located near residential, so don't worry that you might be lost if you see houses. Final little fun note: they have an adorable sweet cat. Very vocal (but not loud), very sweet, and will walk right up to you for petting. This cat is the perfect mascot for the motel. Friendly, sweet, and caring.
