We arrived late, but they had two rooms for us. The price was right, and even though it was "vintage" hotel decorations, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Toilet kept running during the night, had to get up numerous times to shut it off. Room was clean and 1/2 block to our venue for that night. King size bed only had 2 regular size pillows and no extras in the closet. No shower toiletries which are at most other motels. No coffee pot.. For the price per night, more amenities should have been included.

For $96/nt you get a clean bed and clean bath... I've always wanted to visit this place for years but was always leary of its Bate's Motel look ... what draws you its views of Mt. Si, its location at the heart of downtown North Bend (Twin Peaks for those who know... Hence the logo of the "Sunset" behind the "Twin Peaks" ;-) Amenities include microwave and refrigerator, lots of really good clean water (some of the best in Washington State... Its high in iron and good for anemia and tastes wonderful, and makes your skin feel really soft and moisturised ...) and that same good clean water comes out nice and hot from the shower :) It's a little musty so if you are allergic to mold you will suffer (my girlfriend suffered, but I was fine). The room was on the second floor and had great views to wake up to :) The room was quiet with no road noise, dark with the curtains closed, bright with them drawn. Bed was soft and comfortable. My body doesn't hurt and I feel rested the next morning.

The choices are extremely limited when we choosing to stay in North Bend after a night at Snoqualmie casino. I personally would not recommend this motel bit again, choices are limited. The shower runs cold pretty quickly. The shower itself is rather small and the walls are COLD! I AM 6 ft tall and 235 pounds. Not a very big shower stall for anyone even close to my size. The heater worked good but was constantly switching on and off due to the fact the heat dissipated extremely fast. Heat doesn't reach the bathroom therefore it stays cold. TV stations did not work for the most part. I will definitely be staying at a different hotel next time we stay in North Bend. The cost for the meager accommodations is not satisfactory
