Stopped to get dinner with my wife. Waited 10 minutes in an empty lobby with not a lot of people. After being seated, felt a little rushed by the waitress to grab our order. I got the Chicken Tenders with fries and a broccoli cheese soup which were pretty good. My wife ordered the country fried steak, the gravy was very thick and extremely salty. All in all it was ok but not sure about returning.

I went here a year ago and got their cheddar broccoli soup. Don’t get me wrong, it was great. But… What wasn’t so great was the food poisoning I got from it. If you’re going to go to a Kings location, I’d recommend the extra time to go to their Wintersville Ohio location.

I have eaten here twice in the past three weeks and have had explosive diarrhea both times. First time I had fish on a buffet (private room) and the second time I had chicken fried chicken with sausage gravy. I figured that there is some type of oil or butter used in the food that does not agree with my stomach, but both times were immediate and on-going G.I. explosions. For the food: the chicken was over-fried and a little hard and the mac & cheese side was neon orange and cold. The fries were good and my table split a zucchini fry appetizer which was good, although not plentiful in portion size. My sister had chicken parm that she enjoyed and the portion was plentiful and all was well cooked. My mother had the double hamburger (K-Boy Burger) and enjoyed it too, although I pointed out that the patties were flat and did not look freshly formed. She got alot of fries with it and enjoyed that too.

Amazing Diner style food. A true throwback. You definitely get your money's worth. Love the environment here. A great throwback place to eat with amazing sandwiches.
