Can't say enough about this church. Truly multicultural and truly evangelical. Great Bible preaching from a variety of pastors, lively contemporary worship, and very friendly and caring community people. Korean, English and Spanish lyrics and Bible readings on the projections. More formal worship (choir, older hymns) at the early worship service. Spanish language service at 11AM in the smaller chapel. Other language-based worship and Bible studies at various times. (Personal note: as an older white guy, I didn't feel out of place here. Great job of integrating cultures without getting a self-congratulatory attitude. Only been going here for a few months.)

Was a guest of a Cousin for the 1st time Christmas Eve Service and it was a nice welcoming experience. To bad it's far from where we live. Would love to come again... Powerful message with a twist of humor from the Pastor😇

My husband and I were a part of Village from 1998-2002 and we loved the connections we made there. We then relocated to NC for 10 years, and then moved back to OR in 2012, and we couldn't wait to get back to Village! Try as we might, we couldn't get connected at any other church for the 10 years we were gone. It was very discouraging. I don't know what the magic formula is, but Village gets so many things right. I love the diversity of people groups that come to this church (Korean, Hispanic, East Indian), the intentional and available communion (gluten free as well), the passionate worship by Dean Christenson, the meaty preachings by Pastor John Johnson, the heart and implementation of strategic missions around the globe, the partnerships with organizations, and the people that we connect with on Sunday mornings. The list could go on and on to include the excellent children's ministries and women's ministries. There are several service times to choose from, and even a separate service called the Chapel that meets on Sunday mornings. It's not an overflow room of the main Sanctuary, and Pastor John's sermon isn't piped over on a tv. It's a different service all together, with it's own Pastor (Pastor Renjy), their own worship band, a more casual feel, more interactive vibe, smaller congregation of people all using their phones and ipads in church. They aren't being rude, they are just reading along on their Bible app and taking notes.
