We went here looking for a family restaurant after our camping trip at Cesar creek state campground. We walked in an were immediately taken care of with coffee and drinks. We got our order taken and our waitress was MORE than helpful. We did not catch her name but she was absolutely amazing and actually very funny and happy. She took our food order and helped us know what was the best items. I had the country fried steak and breakfast fries and the meal was delicious! I’m sad we do not have this in my town. If we ever make our way over we will be sure to stop in again. The chef had everything out in a very timely manner and had it very hot! If your in town please come here and enjoy what we did. Also the food was cheap price wise but great quality

Spend your money somewhere else! ~ We have been going to this local restaurant for over 19 years but their food quality and customer service have really taken a nosedive in the last year. It took over an hour for them to get our food out to us and then the rude waitress told us we needed to move tables mid-meal as she was told by management that we could no longer sit in the booth. We were disgusted with the server's nasty attitude, the crazy and very convoluted table seating situation, and the dirty dishes and messy floors. This place used to be really awesome and we were bi-weekly customers, but after the last 3 rotten dining experiences, we will never go back. Spread the word: THE VILLAGE FAMILY INN is no longer the delightful and friendly local restaurant it once was.

Food was good but our waitress was overcome and not very attentive. Asked for water to drink which we did not receive til after the mushroom appetizers. Had to ask for silverware after we received our meals. Had to go to the counter to ask for hot sauce. Ask another waitress for water refill.

This establishment had been highly recommended for me to visit for awhile. I finally had the opportunity to experience this for myself and let me tell you they don't disappoint you. Upon arrival the amazingly friendly staff team greet you and help you choose from their diverse comfort food menu. The food arrives to the table at the right temperatures with great presentation. The tastes are exquisite and the portion sizes are great for what you're paying for. The management keeps the teams and restaurant well organized and clean. When visiting or driving through Waynesville Ohio you must stop by and try something from their awesome menu selections. I recommend FREE PIE Mondays. I definitely plan to revisit again soon!!
