Simply the best food in its class. They do everything perfectly. And this is real! The spicy is spicy, everything is tasty, and I can tell you from personal experience that the dishes prepared here are legitimate. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu at one time or another and the only problem is that they are all delicious. For me the real test is shrimp - so many (almost all) restaurants do not know how to handle shrimp. Taqueria Mixteca does shrimp to perfection and you cannot go wrong with any of the many menu items that feature them. That said they get all the meat done in an excellent way and in particular they steak is very good. Shrimp and steak are two things I normally don't order because they usually aren't good, but I get them all the time here. Taqueria Mexteca is just a great local family owned place and you will definitely be glad you ate here.

Only the best Mexican food around! I always get a taco salad, husband and kids get chimichangas and they are always perfect!!

Small place. Okay food. The tortillas that they use for the tacos are literally from Walmart (probably), nothing special. Wouldn’t recommend their shrimp or fish items. Meat dishes are good.

A no frills, unassuming little gem of a restaurant serving authentic Mexican dishes. I always go for the carnas tacos. There are many different option as far as filling goes. There is table service and carry out available. It is also BYOB. They do not sell alcohol. The food is always delicious and consistent.
