To the guy who said “Pene Miller would take application fees and not return calls”...I am Pene Miller and I owned these apartments from 2000-2013. You wrote this review 2 years ago, so I have never met you. During my tenure, we were the only property in Dayton with a 100% satisfaction rating (on 2different sites). We charged an application fee because I ran both a credit check and a criminal background check on every applicant. I did this because I felt an obligation to the present tenants to be selective about who we allowed to reside there. If your application was denied, it was because you did not pass one or both of these checks, and I would have communicated that information to you. I never “dodged” calls. In fact. the phones were forwarded to my personal cell 24/7 and, if there was a problem at 2am, I answered the call myself.

Pene Miller would take rental applications and fees, but never return calls. Don't even plonk down the 25 dollars, because you won't see thing one from it.

It really sucks that I even have to give this place one star. They don't even deserve a rating at all. This is the worst place I have ever lived. The management is very unprofessional, they won't return your calls and are never in the office or there for you when you need them. There management literally stole our rent we worked for to pay and cashed it without telling anyone and tried to pocket the money. Nothing about this place is what we asked for or were told about before moving in. They advertise having washer and dryer hook ups in every apartment and that is a complete lie. We don't have one and never get anything done. Now our lease is about to be up and we were told to vacate within 27 days. Not even a 30 day notice and no reason can be given to us. I hope you guys are happy about the way you do business with residents. I'm so over this place. Please, whatever you do, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
