740 Social is a great restaurant that everyone should try while they’re in Marietta, Ohio! Great atmosphere with amazing food choices and drinks!! 740 Social has a dining area, lounge area, outdoor patio seating, and outdoor beer garden seating which has games like connect four , Jenga, and corn hole! Along with that, all of the employees at 740 Social along with the owners, strive their best to make their guests happy! Highly recommend trying this restaurant!

Atmosphere was nice. Service was non-existent. The 'nawlins alligator and red beans and rice...so many wrongs. Horrible alligator. Tiny pieces and tough. The red beans and rice was clearly from a box, which....ok. But Dijonaise sauce all over the rice? Just no. The vegetable skewer...cucumber and mushrooms? Please, remove the implication that this slop is served in Louisiana. Try the Buffalo fried cauliflower, that was really good.

Incredibly disappointing. Visited on a Saturday around 1350 hours. Service was marginal at best. We were seated pretty quickly and our server Jennifer came to take our drink orders. It then took TWENTY MINUTES for her to return to the table to take our food orders. From the time she put our food orders in, until the time the food was brought to the table was approximately 50 minutes. Jennifer stated, "The kitchen is really backed up." She was apologetic and comped a free beer for our wait time. The time we waited for food was absolutely unacceptable, especially for the number of people who were in the restaurant at the time. The food orders arrived at the table, approximately ten minutes apart from one another. Once my food arrived, it was a lukewarm temperature and should NOT have been served as it was prepared. This was our first time visiting this new restaurant and it will be our last. We will not be returning to this business until the owner / managers get their acts together and learn how to properly run a restaurant. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, who knows.

Place is very nice and the drinks were delicious. A tad on the pricey side, but you are also paying for the experience. I would stop by for a tasty beverage every now and then if I lived closer. The wife and I both really enjoyed the drinks and the bar tender was really nice.
