Beautiful setting and lovely little hotel. The best little motel I have stayed in of its type. Quiet, out of the way of rumbling trucks. Like stepping back in time and staying at grandma's well cared for tidy room, comfortable beds, clean and loved. Will stay here again and again.

I like to give my business to locally owned businesses. This one is an older building but well-loved and well maintained. They have preserved the best features through the many years it has been open. (Neat old tile in the bathroom, the glass block window, furniture) The guy who checked me in was genuine and welcoming. Our room (#14) was clean and comfortable except for the AWFUL bedding! It consisted of 2 cheap pillows that were in hard crackly plastic protective pillowcases, a flat (not fitted) mattress protector that sorta floated around and balled up under us. Two flat sheets (no fitted sheet!), then the ornamental bedspread (no blanket!). Waking up on the bare mattress in a hotel is not a good way to start the day. YUCK!

Kept up all night by noise. Neighbors slammed doors so hard I almost jumped out of bed at 3am and 4am. No shampoo, hand towels, coffee, pot, or luggage stand. Sheets were rough one of the most uncomfortable beds. Could there everything through front window. It was like minimum security prison. Only no one managing after 9pm. People sitting outside smoking near me room all evening then kept me up slamming doors from midnight on. Horrible! I asked for a quiet room they put me right in the middle of the few people staying there.

Clean, decent motel and family-run. We would definitely stay here again. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner was not noisy and worked perfectly. The ceiling fan kept the air circulating which was a plus. The staff was very friendly and kind. The TV is run on ROKU and was at first intimidating, but the staff helped us figure it out and it also worked perfectly. Great experience all the way around.
