Steak 'n Shake on Chiller Lane has some delicious classic fast food and the BEST shakes I have had anywhere. The Double Garlic Burger has always been my top choice, but I generally like everything there. Quick and easy service (you order at a kiosk) and fantastic fast food. What's not to like?

I didn't even want to give it one star!!! Absolutely terrible service!!! Don't go!! We had to order on the computer with no servers even though there was many employees working!! After 30 minutes another group said they were waiting 45 minutes and demanded their money back. We kept asking about our order and all they would say is it will be a while. Same thing to a guy who's food was wrong and still had to set and wait. We finally went up and ask our money back and left!!! And it wasn't even busy in there and it was 1:30 in the afternoon!! Don't go!!

Best service at the drive thru. I believe The cashiers name is KAM, When I say drive through attendance need to take note from her they should very friendly my food was hot and fresh and as usual delicious I will say her enthusiasm was infectious because it hurt make me have a good rest of the evening

If I could give this place a zero star rating I would by far the worst steak and shake that I have ever been to not because the food was bad the food was just fine but the service was horrible I waited at the speaker for 10 minutes and in that time the person taking my order came back three times asked me for my order and then told me to hold on. I had two separate orders as me and my friend were paying separately and as soon as I got up to the window they told me that they put our orders together so I had to wait for them to separate them then when they gave us our food they did not give us any sauce when I asked the woman for our sauce she said I put it in your bag I tried to show her she was being very disrespectful and then she finally proceeded to give us two sauces when I told her that I requested a barbecue and a ranch and my friend requested a ranch she said oh you have to pay for extra sauce I know for a fact that the five piece tender gets two sauces because when you order it online it lets you select two sauces the woman was being very disrespectful about it she made us pay for our sauce when it was supposed to come with our meal. She also gave me the wrong drink by far the worst customer service experience that I have ever had!!! Had the staff just been respectful I would have understood especially if they were understaffed but their attitude was unacceptable and disrespectful!!! (They were also not busy at the time I would like to mention there was one car ahead of us and one car behind us) I'm sorry but I haven an update I just found a hair in my food and it's obviously not mine or my fiance is because it's black and twisty!!!! I will post a picture!!! This is beyond nasty!!! Another update they only gave me four chicken tenders in my five piece!!! At this point I'm very irritated and I want a refund!!!
