This was a very pleasant surprise to find here in a quaint little town like Loudonville. Margherita pizza, jumbo loaded tots and turkey bacon sandwich were all delicious. Nice craft beer selection too. Celebrating our wedding anniversary by staying at Mohican state park. Decided to venture into town for some lunch and shopping. Really glad we did. Will definitely come back.

Grandson and I tried the Bistro today. Atmosphere pleasant, decor very nicely laid out. Plenty of space between tables. The large canvas pictures displayed about the restaurant were from a local forest and parks around the Mohican area. Our waitress was friendly, shared stories about how the Bistro transformed. Such beautiful wood throughout. Food was delicious. Portion size was also nice to fit the prices. The only thing that kept my rating at a five ⭐ was the dirty bathroom. Sink had a black stain. I was aware they had a busy lunch, but bathrooms and kitchens are a pet peeve of mine. I will definitely return to try more if their dishes.

Wow, great place! We had to wait a bit to be seated because of the size of our group, but they were super friendly about everything. The waiter we had was fantastic! The food was tops!

I’ve stopped here twice on my way to the Mohicans and it is such a little gem of a restaurant. My first experience was during Valentine’s Day weekend where they had specialty drink features and every single one was delicious. The bartender was super friendly and encouraged us to try the different drinks which I loved and appreciated. Both times the food was delicious but my favorite thing had to be the giant pretzel. The mustard dipping sauce is perfection. We ordered a crème brûlée for dessert that had way too much sugar and wasn’t cooked properly but our server and the kitchen were eager to correct it. The Black Fork Bistro is on my top list of restaurants in the area. Food, drinks and service are five stars!
