I was not aware of the move and was disappointed. The tea was okay and the worker was not friendly. It's fine if your in the area but don't go out of your way for it.

Best Starbucks in the financial district.

One of the best Starbucks locations in the world. A must visit if you're going to the Columbia Tower observatory or in the area. 40 floors up in the tallest building in Seattle.

This Starbucks definitely has the best view of any Starbucks. Beautiful. Also note: although maps indicates that it's in the Municipal Tower, it's actually on the 40th floor of the Columbia Center.

Mon- Thursday 5:30am to 5:30pm , Friday 5:30 am to 5pm Sat and Sunday closed. I would guess busy 6 am to 8:30 am 10:30 am to 1pm, and perhaps between 4pm and 5pm. Also the hours are listed under Overview they are different for different locations. Happy Starbucking.
It's open to the public
The building itself and the 40th floor Starbucks is free to enter. Its a great view and my favorite Starbucks. The the 76th floor observatory in Columbia Center does cost money however.
The one on the 40th floor? Enter on 5th and take the elevator. Great view!
