We have been going here for over a year now, this place is amazing they take my pitty in with open arms, they are very compassionate with the animals here. Today they went over and beyond to help me with my baby girl. Thank you guys so much for being such a good vet office. I love everyone I’ve came in contact with and they sure do get to the root of problems everytime I go in. You guys are a blessing ❤️

At first, I called them for an appointment. I told the staff if it's okey for her on Monday, June 13 for an appointment date and she said yes and so I cancel it.Unfortunately, I have work on this day. Only my husband's off. So, I called again and the other staff was the one who answered the phone and I'm looking for the other receptionist who talked to me prior to her and she was there.We agreed to have an appointment on Friday, June 17 @ 4:00 pm. Unfortunately, when we were there the receptionist said we were not on the list. I told her how come? And she replied, someone deleted I don't know. She said also that we did not show up on Monday. I told her it was cancelled and moved to Friday. It was very upsetting. She said they have June 27 instead. The other staff was there watching us while we were in bad shape. And she interrupt telling her "I'm sorry" while the one on the desk said to me "my apology". My replied was " your unprofessional". I just turned around and walk away to that clinic. My husband and I were disappointed. Not good staff and they have no coordination to each other.

The vet was not familiar with my dog's breed, a long haired Chihuahua and did not want to hear her cough in response to a dog toy I brought along even though the cough was the reason I came to see the vet. No answer to my cough concern was suggested.

I picked up Meatloaf, the Pug on Saturday. Today was his first veterinary visit outside of Salem. Companion Animal Hospital is the cleanest Veterinary Clinic I've ever been to. Warm lighting, crown moulding, imagine a high class specialty clinic, or a ritzy plastic surgeons office. The staff was inviting, and the Doctor was informative. Everyone treated Meatloaf like a ham. Aside from the *cough* temperature check, my Puppy was in high spirits. Prior to booking his appointment, I called around. Some local options were friendly but booked out way too far, staff at a few places were a little too (trying to find the right word) testy? Rude? Companion Animal Hospital was recommended by another Veterinarian who was also booked out, so I asked her "this may seem like a conflict of interest, but who would you take your puppy to?" I called Companion, and they were able to get me booked and were enthusiastic about meeting my little Loafie. Prices are reasonable. Considering how well they are staffed and the cleanliness of the Clinic, I would say that the prices are very reasonable. The Doctor also let me know that some of the grain free foods that are trending can cause serious heart complications. I attached the list. It is pretty extensive, so it looks like almost all the grain free food brands are potentially hazardous. Every dog I've had seemed to stress out upon entry into the Vet's Office. My Puppy may be special, but I have to consider the environmental factors as well. It did NOT smell like fear and urine. Again, the office is lux, and even the giant Great Dane that was there looked like he was thrilled.
