The new space is doper than Fentanyl. The gentleman that helped us, Moose, was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. You can instantly tell & see the passion that young man has for blades. I can't wait to sign up for a knive making class once they are offering them.

I brought in two new handmade knives to be straightened that were a bit bent. Epicurean sells knives from the same maker that I got them from. Epicurean has a policy that you also have to get sharpening if you want a blade straightened. About $45 later, neither knife was even attempted to be straightened, nor very sharp either. The edges were over-polished and the apex rounded over - I could easily run my fingers (lightly) down the edge of the blade without feeling any bite. I looked and saw they were still as bent as the day I brought them in, and said that I had wanted the blades straightened and they were still bent. The sharpener was called up, and he first asked me if I had said I wanted them straightened. Yes! That's all I wanted! This was apparently not communicated to him, and I guess he didn't notice they were bent or didn't bother to try to straighten them. He then glanced at the knives and said they were as straight as they were going to get, and that the bend could've been from impact or abuse (they were new). The thing is, the spine on one of the knives was obviously bent and able to be straightened. The other one does seem to have uneven grinding, but I am sure it can be made more straight. I resorted to watching a Carter Cutlery video on straightening knives and did indeed make the knife with the bent spine significantly more straight with a brass hammer on wood. It would've been nice if they attempted to do what I was paying them to do. Two stars because they could've done a much worse job sharpening - though I didn't need or want sharpening.

I was looking for a first EDC in the $50 + or - range, so I came here. He showed me a few in that range and I bought an Artisan Cutlery model 1702PS for about $50. He told me about a few tests they performed on that particular knife and how they were impressed with its performance for its price. It is a nice knife and I am satisfied with my purchase. They have I great selection, so I definitely recommend checking them out.

This is perhaps the best knife shop in the country. I have purchased many quality pieces from them over the years and am always impressed with the customer service and products they carry. If you are looking to purchase a knife that you will be proud to own this is the only place to shop. 5 star service and products.

Yes. They also are excellent at sharpening knives as well.
We want to make sure that Epicurean Edge is a safe place to visit and shop, as well as to work. Like our staff, visitors must wear masks covering nose and mouth while in the store. Additionally, we are limiting the number of customers in the store to 4 people at a time so it is easy to keep plenty of space between visitors. We request that visitors sanitize their hands before touching products. Finally, we are performing regular and frequent sanitizing of surfaces, door knobs, etc.
You'd be remiss to not let them sharpen your straight razor.
Can confirm with Jeff. They are the only people my restaurant friends will let sharpen their Knives and my friends don't use cheap knives (shout out to Sitka & Spruce). They also sharpened my butcher knives when I was a butcher boy. Treat your self to a sweet new pocket knife while you're there. Xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
