I had a few issues with a new sewing cabinet that I purchased and they were so gracious about replacing it hassle free. They definitely stand behind customer needs. I definitely recommend this store and their staff is so helpful.

The staff at Quality Sewing and Vacuum are highly knowledgeable and skilled and provided exceptional customer service. I came in on the hunt for an industrial machine able to sew thick and hearty materials. While being self taught my technical sewing vocabulary was limited and Jessica was able to see through that with understanding and was able guide me to the machine that would meet my needs while not limiting my future projects. Jessica’s vast knowledge of sewing, machinery, technique, and her kindness was greatly appreciated. I couldn’t be more excited with the machine I purchased and feel very supported with educational opportunities and supplies offered at QS & V. I highly recommend buying from the knowledgeable staff at QS & V.

We had a great experience at Quality Sewing and Vacuum in Olympia when purchasing a new vacuum. The staff were very helpful and and discussed the pros and cons of two we were deciding on. Very happy with our experience and our purchase. We will be shopping there in the future, they have vacuum supplies and also carry fabric. I'm a quilter and love having. another choice of place to shop.

I took a basic class on my new sewing machine. It was a good class and I learned a lot. At times it was a little slow because there was such a wide variety of machines among us. The instructor did a great job of circulating and coaching each of us individually.

What hours is the store open on Saturday for vacuum repair?

Kathleen McDowell | Aug 16, 2020
Quality Sewing & Vacuum | Aug 16, 2020

The Olympia store is open Saturday: 9am - 5pm. Some basic fixes can be done while you wait. More in-depth repairs need to be dropped off so our techs have enough time to work on them. If you need a loaner vacuum to use while yours is being repaired we usually can help with that too. Hope you come see us for your vacuum repair needs soon.

Do you do service on Sewing Machines? I have several sewing machines that need to be serviced. I have an vintage Elna embroidery sewing Machine, a brother embroidery sewing machine, a singer embroidery and sewing machine and a Singer server.

Yes, we do service sewing and embroidery machines. We provide free estimates so bring in your machines and we would be happy to review all of that information with you to provide an estimate.

I bought a QCR mini cutter, but there's brown paper covering the back of it. How do I get it off without scratching anything? I assume I'd soak it in hot water, but I thought I'd check.

There is a brown paper adhered to the back side of the ruler with a film type adhesive. You could try to soak in water, we have taken a straight pin to a corner of the ruler and gently pried a corner up. Once one small section is lifted, you can pull the rest off. We wouldn't recommend a pair of scissors, but the straight pins work great. Hope this helps!
