Been living here since 2017. Love the beautiful setting with weeping willows, green grass and even a creek. Maintanence has been wonderful too, helping with repairs when needed very quick to respond. Communication with the office is very efficient too.Haven't had any issues. I come home in the evening and notice security on site which makes me feel safe! Thank you! My little family appreciates all you do : )

We have been at Shadow Hills for almost 2 years and are so lucky to have found such a great property. The staff is great to work with and they are always in communication with us if we need anything. Maintenance is prompt and takes care of everything within 48 hours of any request. Moving from a house, finding this property has made apartment life bearable for us. Edit: The staff has been amazing during Covid-19 precautions and closures, giving clear communication and offering resources regularly. We are looking forward to when this is all over and we can become a physically closer knit community, because this pandemic has really brought this community together and I have loved getting to know the amazing neighbors around me in these strange times.

We have lived here for 4 years and have been pleased with the apartment and the management staff. Not all apartment is the same, some have been updated and have washer/dryer in the unit. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. It’s not the most walkable area of town, but there are some really great restaurants near by that are easy walking distance. We’ve enjoyed living here and find that the price and location are fantastic for Portland.

My husband and I have been living here for over a year now and are quite happy. Our complex is in good shape, the area is quiet, and the grounds are gorgeous. The management are always friendly and say hi when they see you. They're very dog friendly. We have a small dog and a cat, and the maintenance team isn't phased at all when they have to enter without us there, to fix things. I secretly think they love our dog. Maintenance is quick and communicative. The complex just put in a little dog run which is so great, though we can also easily take him the 4 minutes to the frisbee golf grounds or the 7 minutes to Custer Park. The pool is small and often crowded on hot days, and the here gym is not state of the art, but it's very functional. My only complaints are the garbage situation and the lease restraints. There seems to be an endless battle against rats around the dumpsters, and the management company can't seem to keep the recycling bins maintained. Ours are forever breaking or going missing. I'm sure some of this has to do with the local scroungers who come digging through regularly, though. They also won't do long-term leases. We tried to negotiate for a 2 or 3 year lease and the most they would do is 15 months. But they were open to discussion and gave us an ok deal otherwise. Overall, this place is lovely and we're quite happy. We hope to be able to stay for several more years.
