Update: WOW to the unprofessional response from the resturant! We didn't say anything bad about the food yet you seem to be upset we asked for a bun and more BBQ sauce!! The resturant has definatly lost its ambiance!! After we got our meal we saw no staff... No one came to ask how everything was and at one point I got up to go ask for something and that's when they came! I don't mind ordering and paying ahead but the service to the tables to see how the customer's are doing would still be nice

briskets, half pound ribs mac & cheese, fries and cornbread with butter. The food got to my house 20 minutes after I had ordered it and it was still warm and delicious. 10/10. Perfect.

I think that I have been to many great Texas barbecue spots and my tastes reside in a different area than this business' presentation. I might also add that this would not qualify high in the Carolinas, Tennessee or Georgia. I will say that the front-end service was excellent. I ordered the two meat combination with brisket and ribs with Mac and cheese and garlic mashed. As this was a takeout order I was home before I opened it. I've bought a lot of meat and done a lot of barbecuing and this was an interesting experience. The real problem was the flavor of both meats. I could have produced the same by wrapping a brisket and ribs in aluminum foil, baking them in an oven and basting them with store-bought barbecue sauce. There was no smoke flavor apparent. No bark, no smoke ring, no flavor. I found myself wondering if Lynden could be far enough from Texas, the Carolinas, Tennessee or Georgia that this could be viewed as "barbecue." I would admit that having only tried the "barbecue." Perhaps the other food is excellent. I must admit that I've traveled all across the best barbecue areas of the U.S. and this experience may have gilded my taste buds for this local offering.
