The Walgreens on 135 and Blackbob is a poorly run waste of time. They are always slow, understaffed and under prepared. Tonight I stood in line for thirty minutes to pick up a prescription and was told by the pharmacist it wasn’t ready and there wasn’t enough time to fill it (they were only open for 20 more minutes she Claimed). Meanwhile the young lady behind the counter only helped cars in line and the fed ex guy while 6 people there waiting. Last time I had a prescription there they had closed early. I then had to go across town to a different location to start the process all over again. Gigantic waste of time.

I am not sure that I have ever seen worse customer service than I have with Walgreens (135 and Blackbob, Olathe KS). Trying to get through to the pharmacy on the phone is next to impossible. The other day I was on hold for an hour before I got disconnected without speaking to anyone. After trying over and over I finally spoke with a tech who said, "your meds will be ready for pick-up today". One hour later, I received a voice mail that said my meds were "delayed". Once again I tried to call the Pharmacy to find out why they were delayed, after several attempts I finally got through. The tech said she had no idea why my meds were delayed and claimed my meds would be filled. I went to the pharmacy that day, and a note on the window said, "NO Pharmacist on duty". Mind you this was a prime day when they were supposed to be open and it wasn't during their lunch break. I went the next "Business day" same sign on the window, "NO Pharmacist on duty". So I went today Saturday, January 22 thinking Walgreens was open.... (Pharmacy Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-7pm, Sat 8am-10pm, Sun 8am-10pm, Sat Closed, Sun Closed).I am confused what is it open or closed??? Nope...Closed. How can a company get away with this?? I feel like our Meds are held hostage. Walgreens does not care at all about their customers. Once I receive my meds, I will never step foot in a Walgreens again.

This pharmacy has slowly gone downhill and is now atrocious. It should not take multiple attempts at texting and calling to speak with someone, only to find out your prescription still isn't ready. The wait time is always far longer than it needs to be, drive thru or inside. The two stars are for the rest of the store not associated with the pharmacy and for the kind customer service of the pharmacy techs. That's it. Also, I understand staffing is sometimes an issue, but if you are going to change your hours because of those staffing issues - at least post it somewhere!

Incompetent, uneducated, and unqualified. Technician. Had no clue what she was doing. I have only EMT education and still knew far more than her.. she didn't even run insurance before I arrived for my scheduled pick up that I provided my insurance cards for on rx drop off 3 hours before. Then got the labels wrong try to mark my scripts backward. Same med different doses for my different kids with different names ages and weights... If I didn't pay attention to it it could have really hurt my little one. Not to mention scheduled pick up takes 30 minutes... Uncalled for.. she had to repack all the meds cause she put the wrong paper work on them. And had not even mixed the liquid med till after 29 mins of waiting.
