I just left Addison at Wyndam after 19 years to purchase a home. But Addison at Wyndam always seemed like a home to me. The rental office staff and maintence staff always showed care and concern for any problems. I always felt very safe living there. The location is perfect because restaurants, banks and drug stores are close by. Lastly the complex is part of the Weinstein family properties which is a wonderful family based business.

I moved to Addison in 2020, lived there 2 years. Beware of the constant problem of trash disposal. The apartment trash compactor will be broken most of time and trash is overflowing and visible to everyone. Upgrades are cosmetic. Major functional issues (ie, air conditioner, bathroom) are only fixed temporarily. The upside is the nice pool and clubhouse and it's convenient to Short Pump and schools.

have lived at a lot of apartments, two of them owned and Weinstein properties. I recently purchased a home, and so I am thankfully out of the renting cycle for the next few years. Before I move further, let me say that I often move in very rushed ways, and some of my complaints are things that you could watch for on your property walkthrough. But I will say for sure, as a business owner and as a tenant who deserves respect and honesty, that moving into a$1200+ apartment shouldn’t be so much of a toss up as it is with Weinstein. At one unit I had to deal with a moldy bathroom with a disgusting patch in the middle of the tub. The tub also shed paint and continually clogged. These apartments also have some issues with pests, animal droppings, items left everywhere, and not enough pet waste stations to justify the pet rent. Carpets of the units are thin, crunchy in spots from some set in dirt that I don’t even want to guess at, and filled with little annoying particles. Another primary issue that I had at properties owned by Weinstein was that I wasn’t given a mailbox key, and I was told that I would need to apply for one and pay $15 at the local post office to have the locks changed. Again, I have lived at a lot of properties… not once have I been unable to get my mail because the property did not want to give me a key. I was told that some apartments get keys and some others don’t, because Weinstein doesn’t keep mailbox keys for certain mailboxes… I was told this after I moved in and it made no sense. After all the difficulties, these properties have the nerve to charge for repairs of the things that were horrible to begin with. With rent over 1700 for some units, keep them well structured or at least save your residents the expense of damages that were already issues to begin with. Weinstein properties are like a buy here pay here car lot that puts a clean coat of paint and new duck tape on this so that they hold together long enough to get through the move in inspection.

I lived at Addison at Wyndham for 4 years and had a great experience! The staff is friendly and professional, and maintenance requests are always addressed quickly. It's also in a great location! There are two grocery stores/small shopping centers across the street and all the shopping at Short Pump is just a few minutes away. The area is safe and the schools are fantastic! Highly recommend this apartment complex - I was sad to leave!
