This park is great a-1 the people are cool, friendly, and very helpful . Between the shoe tree, the super hero pole, and the giant smiley face 🙂 this park has lots to enjoy. Someday will be a stockton tourist attraction no doubt. Definately a must see!

Questions & Answers

Why are there like a hundred shoes in the tree in the parking lot at Anderson park???

There are a few reasons. Some do it for someone who has died, superstition, accomplishment of something, in memory of someone or something, or just for the hell and fun of it really. But usually when you see them on powerlines in neighborhoods, the color shoe means what drug is on the block. (White shoes=meth/coke, black shoes=heroin and so on)
