Very disappointed in leasing agent Crystal's attitude when speaking over the phone. Another review stated she was rude and argumentative a year ago and sadly nothing has changed in that regard.

I have been a resident since the construction here completed! I have had nothing but great experiences here from the environment to the office staff to the maintenance team! Honestly the staff treats you like family and are very quick to help answer any question and fix any concern! I just renewed my lease for the 3rd year and have no doubt it was a great decision!

I have lived here for 1.5 years, starting at the beginning of the pandemic (March 2020). Even while navigating through COVID, the office was always easy to contact and the property was well-maintained. Pros: Apartment was brand new Any required maintenance (filter replacement, checking smoke detector, e.c.t.) was communicated in advance Office employees were very friendly, easy to get a hold of, responded quickly and made the overall experience a pleasant one. Any maintenance requests (the control panel on my dryer broke and had issue with dishwasher) were seen to quickly Beautiful area, great location, quiet (for the most part) Cons (none of these were really an issue for me but should be mentioned) There is an active railway behind the community. The train comes through, roughly, once a day but it wasn't overbearingly loud I had neighbors who would occasionally be yelling or slamming something. I reported this and it did happen less often. Although the people below me thought I was causing the noise and filed a noise complaint. My apartment faced away from the pool but the hallway leading to my door was facing it. This funneled a lot of noise from kids playing right into my apartment and kids can be very loud. I was at work most days, so this was only an issue during the summer on days off. There were several places where the paint was missing inside the apartment. Not too noticeable but once I saw them, I couldn't help but see them whenever I walked past. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely rent from them again, if I moved back down to the Richmond area.

I have lived in quite a few complexes around Midlothian and the Winterfield was the best out of all of them! Very nice and spacious apartment with high end appliances (washer/dryer were amazing) and great amenities. Excellent location close to lots of stores and restaurants, and quick access to 288. They are quick to address any issues that arise. Stephanie & Jennifer are super friendly in the leasing office and always helpful. I am only moving after buying a home but would recommend anyone looking for a midlothian area apartment to check them out! *very pet friendly as well*
