As a first timer I was apprehensive about going to a beauty school but a friend had given rave reviews. She wasn't wrong. I had my hair cut by a future barber that along with the great instructor checking every step did a great job! Thank you Joel Duarte I love my haircut. You fixed what other hairstylists had missed. Your instructor helped me solve a lifelong problem. I will not forget. Thank you both.

I visited Paroba yesterday for an appointment with one of the barber students. The individual who did my haircut was very thorough, friendly, professional and respectful. I know that many people may feel uneasy when they think of a barber or hairdresser student working with their hair, but let me assure you that every time that I come here I always receive a professional haircut, which the instructors have to sign off on before you leave, so if they do make any mistakes, they are corrected. I encourage anyone who is looking for a professional haircut to come here for one, and it helps the students here get experience for their new careers! I have 100% trust in this place and an added bonus is that your haircut is discounted.

I’ve been going to Paroba since they were on Everett Mall way. Both staff and students are always very kind, courteous, informative and non judgmental. I have always gotten a call back from the front desk within 1-2 business days maximum, and never had any communication issues with staff or students, nor have I been dissatisfied with any haircuts received. I am more than happy to continue giving Paroba my business and supporting the students with someone to practice on.

I have gone here several times and learned to ask for a student that is good at the specific service I'm requesting, otherwise I've ended up with someone who takes twice as long. But overall I've had a good experience and can't beat the price, they have messed up my hair before but offered to fix it for free. I think they did a great job fixing it and I will definitely come back.
