I am not the type to ever make a review on a place. I hate even giving this place a 1 star! My husband and I came in to town for a funeral, and there wasn't very many vacancies anywhere. When approached the motel there was a lot of trash around and I'm people clearly lived there. Both didn't bother me. Get into the room I checked for bed bugs on the mattress which was pretty dirty, but no sign of them. In the middle of the night I went to the bathroom and was washing my hands and there I saw a cockroach and then 2 more! I immediately packed all my stuff and slept in the car. In the early am my husband showered and saw another one in daylight!

From the time me and my wife checked in, the lady at the front desk was extremely nice. The room was pretty nice considering this was the cheapest motel in the area. Most cheap motels is loaded with trouble, but not this one. The room we stayed in was newly renovated. The beds is extremely comfortable. Not to mention it is only 2 minutes away from Lake Guntersville

It's not a bad room at all. It was clean and beds are comfortable. So yes I would go back and stay here

Currently remodeling the place. It's one of the cheaper hotels around the area. The owners are really nice very helpful and family oriented people. I prefer this hotel for some reason here lately and will be sure and have some pictures soon.
