My 3 year old son went here with his babysitter. He got sick during the movie so my babysitter told the concession stand what happened, they said it was fine and they’d clean it. She had a few other kids with her too so when they left she accidentally forgot my sons shoes. When she got home she called up there and asked them to look for his shoes. They told her when they found them they would call her back. The manager called her back and told her how rude it was that she left without telling someone my child got sick. She told him she did tell someone but since he was so rude to her she wouldn’t be back, he said “good! I don’t want you or your brats back here!” Mind you he’s talking about babies and toddlers!!!! I was so mad I called up there to speak to him. He cussed me and called my babysitter a KAREN! We will never be back at this nasty dirty run down place. If I could give negative stars I would!

This is Glasgows only movie house and we do enjoy it! With that being said there is a lot of room for improvement! The actual theatres are inconsistant on temperatue either warm to hot or chilly! The building itself seems to be in need of an overhaul! The staff is great and very accomodating! The selection is always good!

This place ruined my viewing experience of the last Purge film. The movie had subtitles and the screen was so zoomed in you couldn't read a thing. To really make things worse we were placed in a theatre with no AC in the middle of the summer.. Don't waste your time and money here.

Ok so this place is disgusting I mean nasty ! The seats are stained , trash on the floor looks like it’s been building up for days ! The staff was ok but not super friendly they had 5 workers and 3 were not doing anything they could have been cleaning the nasty floors! The carpet is loose and coming apart at the seam which is dangerous! And the bathrooms that’s a whole other level of nasty ! They need to do something before someone gets hurts in this place !

I do not work for them, but having run a motion picture theater for years I think I can help answer your question. Every time a theater books a movie you enter into a specific contract with the studio over how much your ticket prices will be, how many weeks you will play it, and the more new a picture is the higher the percentage of the theaters box office you have to give back to the studio. It is not unheard of for the studio to take 75-80% of you box office if you play a film the first week it comes out. With each week, as the film gets older, the percentage the theater has to give back to the studio drops and usually settles around 35% after the 4th or 5th week.....but in the public's eyes the film is then ancient. The other factor is that some films that are high quality and Oscar worthy usually come out in limited release. This can be anywhere from 500-900 theaters in America so the studio can slowly build "buzz" around it.
