Maybe Brandon could sound a little less overwhelmed and like he cares about customers. Just a thought. I am seriously considering just canceling my plan and pay a private vet more so I get the respect I deserve. Please hire better people!

This is the worst customer service I ever experience .The two front desk Josh and Alex lied and treated customers very poorly ,I demand here the business owner contact me to get this addressed. On 17 Dec 11:15am ,I dropped the dog for my friend and gave my phone number to the front desk , Josh. I asked him to call me when the dog ready to pick up. About 1pm ,Vet Doctor, Greg Thompson called me that he need permission to do some kind test for $158 , I gave him the dog owner phone number to get permission (later I confirmed with owner ,He did give permission to the Doctor do the test).I was wondering why no one call me to pick up dog? so I called in and talked with one lady(Alex), she told me that the dog were still in treatment but I need pick up before 5pm , I told her my wife will be there soon. When my wife arrived 4:45pm . My wife said she was very nice asked Alex ,any medication for the dog 's wound and rushed skin. Alex refused the doctor didn't see your dog, you have to reschedule to bring back again in order to get the medication. and asked my wife to pay today's doctor visit fee $58. My wife said the dog owner told her, the dog has a wellness plan and it will cover for the cost, wife said please let me contact the dog owner first. at the same time , Josh got vey hostile and rude and said :"it is only give two minutes, after two minutes, I will send it the bill to collection". my wife texted and called the dog owner couple minutes late. wife my wife back to the front desk , Josh said the bill already sent to collection and asked her to leave . On DEC 18 9am I called Josh asked him why dog did not get treatment and charge $58,He started lying and accused no one pick up dog whole afternoon ,I pointed out that nobody called me to pick up dog until I called in , Alex told me the dog was still in treatment at 430pm ,he get very agitated by this fact and told me the dog can't come in here Banfield anymore. I called back talked with Alex, try to complain this to owner, Alex told me Josh is the owner ,I like to find out is this true? and she started to lie said she asked me to pick up dog 430pm.I don't get why they both like to lie to customer even so small stuff ,if they keep doing business this way, everyone should avoid them as far as your can. Again I like to have conversation with the real owner whoever he is.

Very dependable, reliable service received in the most recent visit. This happens when the entire staff ( all new to me - location fixed problems reported before) from front desk to vet and everyone involved is good. I was so nervous about my pet condition when I went in and came out very satisfied and happy when my pet was ok with their treatment in a few days. Thanks to everyone.

I'm waiting here at Banfield for an appointment that was supposed to start at 1pm. I signed in with Josh and he proceeded to take down my pets information. I thought all was going smooth until he took my kitten to the back and said he would come back with a treatment plan. I thought it was weird for him to give us a treatment plan with out actually seeing the vet. I asked if we were still going to see the vet and he said yes. When he came back a few minutes later he showed us a more than $150.00 treatment plan that included fecal test. Mind you we have yet to even talk to or see the vet yet. I told him I would rather talk to the vet first to see what they recommend. And he told me that the fecal test was what the vet recommended. I highly doubt the vet even had time to check on our kitten because he went to the back and came out with a treatment plan within minutes. I told him I'm not paying for anything until I talk to the vet and when can we talk to her? He then said that the vets went to lunch and I asked him what about our 1pm appointment and he said there was an emergency earlier and they have gone over time and we were going to have to wait 1-2 hours!! I couldn't believe it. If they had an emergency, why didnt they call to let us know before we drove here or at least tell us to reschedule. I asked him why we have to wait 2 hours for our appointment and he got flustered and said that there are 6 people behind us that are waiting. Like it was our fault that a line was behind us! It is our appointment time which we arrived early for. I feel like he was totally unprofessional. We are still waiting to see the vet so I have nothing to review about her. So far though, I am not coming back here.

We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Aug 16, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
