Three years ago we bought a dryer from this Appliance City because it was nearby and we didn't want want to deal with picking one up and transporting it from someone on craigslist. Keep in mind, we were very value conscious and bought the cheapest dryer we could. A month or so ago, the dryer stopped heating all together, so I called Appliance City, assuming they would stand by their customers and fix the dryer at a reasonable price. The tech came by and spent about 5 minutes testing components before telling me that the timer was broken and it would be cheaper to replace the dryer than the timer, but that he would give me $100 off and not charge for the service since the dryer was from him. Something smelled fishy, but I said I would think about it. First I looked and saw a replacement timer would in fact NOT be more than the price of a "new" dryer, so I decided to have his findings verified by an appliance tech who wasn't trying to make a sale. Lo and behold, the only corrupted part was the thermostat, which was a cheap and easy fix. I was also told that the dryer didn't even have the correct thermostat installed by appliance city to begin with. Suffice it to say if you need a cheap appliance I would look somewhere else first, and if you need maintenance or repair this is the absolute last place you should call. The practice of misdiagnosing issues in order to sell more expensive product is unethical and predatory.

Woke up to dead fridge/freezer, had it checked by Ty and confirmed DOA and a new (used) one picked out and in my home by 5 pm THAT DAY. Granted, I live very close to the shop, but the whole process from first call to install and removal was professional, easy, and *genuinely* kind. I almost want to have more appliances die so I can use them again!

I purchased a vintage stove from Appliance City from Ohio and they were great working with me in getting it shipped to my house! I lined up a company to come pick up the stove from their location and they did a great job wrapping the appliance to protect it from damage as well as communicating to me when it was picked up and such. They also made sure the correct plug was attached to the back to fit my outlet at home. I can't recommend them enough! Thanks Appliance City!

I purchased a beautiful vintage 1963 Frigidaire stove from them based on the pictures I saw online and was blown away when it arrived. It was even nicer than the pictures had shown! Everything works and the temperature for the heat settings is perfect. I've been cooking on it daily since I got it and can't believe how well it works. It bakes like a dream! They did a great job of refurbishing the stove and were really easy to work with concerning having it delivered. I live in WA and contracted a trucking company for pickup and delivery, and they were able to accommodate the date and time for pickup even though I had to reschedule twice. Great customer service and wonderful product. I highly recommend them.

Hi Falisha. If you can send me the model number I will be happy to help you. Cheers, James.
As their stock on hand always changes, its best to call them. They are very helpful.
We do buy used appliances in good condition but please bear in mind that each appliance has to go through a full refurbishing process. Once that is done it has to be fully tested and them fully detailed. There’s a lot of work involved in getting them ready so obviously when we buy one we are buying at wholesale and not retail. So please understand that the offer price would reflect that. Let us know what you have. Thanks James
