Monday we arrived early and the staff let us check in which was real nice since it was my wife's birthday. The rooms were clean and they mopped the floors which was awesome, when you stay here your feet don't turn black from just sweeping the floors. The pool was very clean, the employees were all friendly, rooms were very nice and priced right, no crooked resort fees here. My wife loved her birthday stay here and so did I. Thank you very much Regency Inn & Suites, Sarasota, Florida !!!

Very charming little motel in Sarasota! We highly recommend! I like places with vintage character and this place is it. Love to see a 50-60s motel brought back to life! And this one is doing it right. Has everything you need. No breakfast but coffee in room, comfy bed and a hot shower. 10 -15 mins from lido beach. Property is very well kept and pool was super clean and perfect temp. Staff is top notch

the staff were very helpful, i asked if i could check in before two and they got me in right away! there were some issues that had nothing to do with the staff and they made it known that it was very important to them to get it covered. the only and literally the only problem i had was the hot water would take a little bit longer for it to heat up but that was it! very clean and nice overall! would definitely be the place i stay at in the future

Positive: Due to airlines delays we were not going to arrive until very early the next morning. The night desk clerk was absolutely AWESOME to work with and make sure our room did not get released. Clean, great location. Valet staff was excellent! Negative: Daytime desk staff were somewhat rude. Seemed like we were bothering them when asking questions. Restaurant was only open outside and it was windy/cold. No coffee in lobby, $5 at the restaurant. Door to balcony was beat up on bottom, could see the outside
