Worth the drive! Fairhaven’s Fear Free approach is everything my anxious rescue dog needed. The thought and care put into even the tiniest details helped my dog feel more relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Kennedy took her time with my dogs and provided excellent care, showing compassion and kindness.

This place is amazing - highly recommend. I have an anxious rescue dog who is terrified of vets and she did great here! booking- they really listened and asked a lot of questions. Gave recommendations for how to prepare for the appointment. They were mindful of reading dog language and reacted appropriately. Put treats and toys on the floor. Sat on the floor and let her come to them. And lots of treats- she had no idea she was being examined. Just wonderful. For me- they spent a lot of time asking questions and then educating me on what they were seeing and recommended lots of options and helped me think through them. I felt so supported here and can’t stop telling everyone about them. Never going anywhere else!! Thank you team!

My 4 year old dog has never really had a positive experience at a veterinarian like his first visit to Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital. He was much less nervous and much calmer. He wasn’t growling or barking at the techs. He relaxed enough to accept treats from the Dr.’s hand! Hoping to desensitize him to vet visits by scheduling regular visits to continue having these positive experiences.

Thank you Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital for letting me bring my rescue dog Minnie in for a quick POP visit on her second birthday! When I adopted Minnie 11 months ago she was afraid of EVERYTHING - if this sweet girl had any human interaction before she was found on the streets of Texas a year ago, I'm sure they were not pleasant interactions. With the treatment and guidance from the team at Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital, I am hoping that Minnie is now living her best life and gaining more confidence and having happy interactions with people every day!

I want to switch my dog Rosie to you from Northshore. How do I get them to forward her records?

Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital | Aug 2, 2022

Hi Mel, You can contact Northshore and request a physical copy of your pets' complete records or you can ask that they fax or email them over. We can also request a copy of them once you have an appointment booked with us. Take care, the team at FVH

Greetings Cindy. While we don't offer payment plans internally through our clinic. We do accept Scratchpay. More information can be found on their site: https://scratchpay.com/ Many of our clients utilize it, and have found it a quick and simple payment option when in a pinch.

Do they take guinea pigs because I know some vet don’t take small animals just dogs and cats

Give them a call, if they dont take them they could help you find a vet who would.
