If is actually a place to buy and sell used games. Pass it on, but only to people you trust.

The worst of the game stops, the manager is so rude and closes the store to take smoke breaks , and i mean closes the whole store. And apparently doesn't buy consoles during the week as policy but yet i went to a GameStop in Beaverton and they buy all week and weekend , now if he was polite and said oh we dont have cash thats a different thing but his whole excuse was i dont buy consoles any time during the week, and they said they cant buy with out a controller to the console when two minutes before he told me , he could just by the controller for half , so once i sold the controller he then said he cant take my console cause it needs to come with a controller. can i give bellow one star?

They sold the OLED Nintendo Switch that I had preordered. GameStop policy is that anything that is preorder is held for 7 days before being sold. The console released on Friday the 8th, I called the store on Sunday and told them that I would be there on Wednesday to pick it up. I was told that was completely fine due to their policy. This afternoon when I came in the employee couldn’t find my switch and when he asked the manager all he said was “sold it last night”. I wasn’t able to get a refund on my card or in cash they said I can only get a gift card due to policy. So the manager who was ok with my pre ordered console being sold outside of policy isn’t ok with giving me a proper refund? At this point there is little reason to go to GameStop. But if you do DONT GO HERE.

Excellent customer service. The lady that help us was by far one of the nicest people I've ever had dealings with at a Gamestop location. Employees are typically extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and dont pressure you into purchases or nagging you for the upsell... well, with the exception of the power up rewards thing, that in my opinion, is well worth the 15$ a year and includes a subscription to a monthly gaming magazine. It almost sounds like I'm an employee or paid to write this "kiss-@$$" review. Lol. I've just been a satisfied customer for the past 20 years or however long this place has been in business and this particular employee went well above and beyond the normal employee duties and basically treated us like long time friends so I figured I'd finally write a review.
