Pros: convenient location right off I4, gas and newish Bob Evans restaurant right next door, night and morning front desk employees were efficient and friendly, bed was old and bouncy but slept ok Cons: room smelled of old stale smoke (especially around the a/c unit and the drapes), carpet was old and had dark dirt stains, bathroom tile grout was old and cracked, toilet seat was loose I understand the hotel is due to be renovated in a few months, but by the smell and looks of our room, this is many years past due. The price point of $150 plus tax does not represent a good value.

This room was gorgeous. It was roomy, the bed was big and comfortable. I wish they had a better bathroom experience. Also, the breakfast was quite underwhelming. Aside from the breakfast and the bathing area, I enjoyed my stay.

When I booked the hotel the guy on the phone I talked to when I called to confirm my reservation I made online, said it was pet friendly and he never said another word. So when I arrive here then tells me it’s a $50 charge for the pets and it’s not deposit it’s for extra cleaning they do because anyone with pets can have any room so they want to make sure it gets clean for the next person in case they have allergies. Ok, that made since so I moved on. I get into the room and it smelled very musky, the table legs were broken, there was a huge rip in the sofa bed, and you could tell animals had been in this room a lot because there was pet hair on the floor and carpet pulled up in spots from cats. Also the table looked like it was chewed on a little. I immediately took pics of everything and went downstairs to show the guy so that my cat ( who wears nail caps so she can’t scratch anything) that way I’m not charged for something someone else’s cat/dog did. But I found it funny I pay $50 so it’s cleaned throughly yet my room was not at all cleaned good. Out of every hotel I’ve stayed at I give it 2 stars. Oh yea the sofa bed was all springs. Like you could pinch the springs through the sheets.

HILTON MEMBER: I booked by the Hilton app which doesn't allow you choose a handicap accessible room. The night before my check in I was messaged by the hotel and I requested a handicap accessible room on the 1st floor and was advise "no problem". I never heard anything else via messenger. Arrived to check and was placed on the 2nd floor, I questioned handicap accessible room and was told "I think it is", once in the room it was not handicap accessible and I was told they were sold out and didn't have any handicap accessible rooms available. Than the front desk clerk tells me to calm down he's trying to help me and I'm getting upset and that if I wanted a handicap room I should have booked one. I thought I requested that during our pre-arrival chat. Breakfast and location were good but I won't return to this location or recommend because if the poor customer service the front desk provided.
