Great pool. The slide was closed but it will hopefully open soon. Admission is free and there is a snack bar. Unfortunately they don't sell beer.

Great place to do some outdoor swimming connected to the Sellwood Park and they have great hiking trails down to the river nice trees to go sit under a cute little playground area for kids . prices are good.

What an awesome pool! It goes from being a few inches deep to 7ft. On the shallow end there are splash features. It is a great pool for toddlers or young swimmers. There is one slide on the deep end. The deep end is partially shaded in the afternoon hours. There is no parking lot, street parking is all that I found. There is a nice enclosed park next to the pool which makes it easy to play while waiting for specific swim times. Last, but not least: the changing rooms are really nice! The woman's side is roomy, with proper changing stalls, plenty of toilets and showers, and quite a few lockers. As of August 2021: masks required inside the building.

Open swim is from Mon to Fri 1-3:30pm & 7:30-8:50pm Wednesday nights are free (and a zoo). They have a limit to number of people at a time. So you on hot days get there early. Sat & Sun open swim is from 1-5pm. Adults $4.75; kids $3.75. All entries require payment, even to watch (City of Portland is having major budget issues)

Yes, you can enter the pool area even if you don't plan on swimming and aren't wearing a swimsuit. You still gotta pay, though those cards probably work

This pool does not, however it does feature a "zero depth entry", which means that it has a ramp from the edge of the pool into the pool. (In this case the entire pool is a ramp.
Assuming your asking about open swim, ages 3-17 is 3.50$ and 2 and under are free with adult. Also Wednesdays night's from 7:30-8:50pm is free for everyone.
As long as you're calling during hours they're open, you should get a person answering the phone. They do take priority over people there instead of people on the phone if they don't have enough people working. Try calling again and perhaps look at the schedule to see when it's not super busy.
