I visited this restaurant last Saturday for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised with the dinner. Even though it was a set menu I truly enjoyed the 3 course meal. You have to try the yuka puff they melt in your mouth. Presentation and flavors are on point. John the server was so attentive and knew what to recommend. He knew that I was attending the theater and he made sure everything was on schedule. If you have tickets for a play get there early and have dinner or drinks at Marti’s New River Bistro!

This restaurant is beautifully set & very picturesque with the lawn & river view out the window. That's where everything else stopped Don't dine here unless you like food prepared by a chef that probably took a course in 'micro wave' cooking and received a C- grade. I ordered 1/2 chicken glazed with peach sauce. It came out in less than 15 minutes. Proof it was micro-waved. It was tough, tasteless & grainy. I considered the trout but it was prepared with strips of bacon. So a healthy option was full of bacon grease. I mentioned it to the waiter & he ignored my comment. What a disappointment to such a beautify set & convenient location.

My husband, daughter and i were heading to Broward Performing Arts to see The Phantom of the Opera so we stopped in to Marti's for a bite and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Service was great. Staff was friendly. The food was incredible. I had the vegetarian dish it was roasted root vegetables with red quinoa and coconut cashew cream with a mixed green salad topped with golden beets, thinly sliced pear, goat cheese and candied walnuts with a yuzu vinaigrette.And the desserts eere out of this world. It was a sampler of apple pie, german chocolate cake, coconut cream/pudding, and coconut sherbert with strawberry sherbet. SOOOOOOO GOOOOD!!! My family and i were completely satisfied and well be looking forward to coming back hungry for more.

Let me start with, I have NEVER left a bad review for any place. My fiance and I stopped at Marti's as a last minute meal before seeing Riverdance on Saturday night (01/06/18). The next day I woke up sick to my stomach with food poisoning! I believe it was the shrimp avocado poke I'd ordered for an appetizer. I was literally sick the entire day sunday, barely able to function let alone care for our 3 children. What was supposed to be a nice evening to ourselves (which we hadn't had in over a year) was instead blanketed by an entire day of recovery the very next day. Like I said, I don't like to complain let alone leave a bad review, but after the way I felt the next day I feel it is needed!
