So I come in to order my glasses and Ruben helps me, Ruben is nice, I like Ruben... but Alan has a cow about my face shield which meets Costco standards. So I'm forced to either leave, or wear their paper mask. Not cool Alan... I'll remember that for future purchases. I return 4 days later to pick up my new glasses and this blond woman either late 40s or early 50s, is quite rude to me also. Offers nothing to adjust my new frames or help me out. I return now today to get my second pair and Breanna helps me. She was so nice and helpful. I asked her if she'd adjust my first pair and of course she agreed with a smile and more than courteous attitude. I know not all employees reflect Costco standards and that was certainly exemplified in Alan and blond woman. But Ruben and Breanna certainly are people who i will return to, especially when given a choice. Alan and blond woman... forget it I'll give up my turn for someone who's respectful.

Two of the female staff that I’ve encountered have been very rude and have talked down on me. I’d actually like to file a complaint if possible.

Horrible experience will never be back. The doctor was Rude, wasted my time with what could of been a simple phone call, he didnt listen to me and why I was upset. Instead he thought I was trying to make him do something when all I wanted to know was why he didn’t inform me prior about my restriction. If someone develops a restriction you would let them know as soon as you find out . My appointment was a few months ago and I’m just now finding out due to trying to buy my usual contacts with my updated prescription. All he had to do was apologize for not releasing my limitations on my vision to me prior and done this all over a phone call so I wouldn’t drive from Bellevue to Tacoma for a 5 min argument.

My daughter and I went to Costco optical, after being disappointed with getting the right prescription and glasses at an optical shop. The prescription was corrected and we had a great experience. The selection of designer frames, superior lenses (thin plastic anti-reflective), as well as professional help was great! Also, the student discount for my daughter and great price overall couldn't be beat. There is no compromise in quality, and their hours of operation make it so much easier to get contacts (than with other optical shops that close early and are not open for business on weekends!)

Have you tried calling them? If you have a valid prescription in hand you can walk in and look.
I have VSP thru my office and I wanted to know if Costco accepts this insurance.
