Awful communication, awful service, but good tattoos. When a friend and I came in they told us 45 minutes for walk-ins, which we were fine with. My friend was done 5 minutes after the initial wait. I was then told that a guest artist would be doing my tattoo, and that he'd be ready in five to ten minutes. Instead I had to wait another several hours, and watch two people who came in as walk ins after me get tattooed by a different available artist before I was even in the chair. Meanwhile my artist kept mysteriously disappearing to the back for 20-30 minute intervals without communicating why. We were in the shop for over four hours because it took him so long to be ready. He then complained to my face that my tattoo was "tedious" and tried to charge me the cost of a tattoo twice the size. His reasoning was "straight lines are hard", which I can understand to an extent, and I was willing to pay for that, but even with the straight lines I was not willing to pay nearly $400 for a piece smaller than my hand in all black ink with no shading. This was my 12th tattoo, and I have work from at least ten artists in two states, so I knew what to expect to pay and the given price was ridiculous. I talked to the artist and he agreed to lower the price a bit, but I still feel I was overcharged. I went through with getting it only because I had already been waiting for over three hours and didn't want to waste my whole night. Once he got started he was great, and I love the tattoo, but I was not thrilled with the artist complaining about my piece, overcharging me, or making us wait such a ridiculous amount of time with no communication as to why. It's unfortunate that the service was so awful, because the art is so good. Despite that, I will not be coming back.

Looooooovimg my new tattoo. Thank you Stefan! You knew exactly what I wanted without me telling you! Very clean & nice decor. It is pricey. I paid $300 plus tax $330 plus tip $490 for one & half hour.

First tattoo was good, but got a second tattoo done for one i want to fix up. (Didn’t quite like it) not bad but not good. Wanted another appointment, never got a response, just excuses and excuses until i got told that I should visit other artists. Not happy with experience but I don’t think thats the way you should communicate with a client. Best thing to do is to set up a meeting and see if ideas you have you could draw them and place them on client and see if client likes what you think. But overall experience is 6/10 . Need more attention to client, and give ideas to clients who are not good at knowing what they want or how to do it.

I was skeptical at first, but once I sat down with Jamie it has been nothing short of amazing. Myself and a few other friends certainly recommend this place. The artists are top notch, and their tattoos have come out spectacular. Being happy with the work myself is great, but I'm constantly getting great feedback from others on the tattoos. I'm also getting a lot of questions about where I got them. I certainly recommend UTN.

You would have to go in and speak with the artist to find out what can be done and to get a quote.
