Nice park. Small playground, valley ball courts, small sandy beaches, bathrooms, picnic tables, charcoal grills, paved pathways and views for days.

The spring months are the best time to go for peace and cleanliness. Summer if you like people and really need to cool off. River is cleaner than the lakes are.

This park is on the Columbia River and is a great one. There are bathroom facilities with outdoor showers and a playground for kids. There is also a running trail that is paved and beach on the Columbia. There are also over six sand volleyball courts. If you have a family with younger children it’s best to come in the earlier hours of the day because in the afternoon the teenagers and older crowd start showing up and don’t use the best of language. Also if you’re coming out here to enjoy the sunshine and warmer water it’s best if you come mid June to first of September. For the most part it is pretty clean and the current isn’t too strong. Please note that about 12 feet from the shore there is a nice drop where the water gets deeper.

this is a great summertime location with a long sandy shoreline (sand bar) , clean facilities, turf and plenty of picnic spaces. A bike trail connects to other local parks and there is enough room for swimmers and fishermen and the occasional mermaids that frequent the area. Parking is only three dollars, but there is no water access for motorized watercraft, they are restricted. The negatives for this park is that it sometimes gets filled to capacity and you have to wait to get in. non payng vehicles were being cited or towed last year so that'll, hopefully, get better.

Please be specific in your questioning. Are you asking why it was closed when you went to Frenchman's Bar, last week? Hours 7 am to dusk Facilities 2 shelters 9 barbecue grills 34 picnic tables 2 pieces of playground equipment 2 drinking fountains 5 restrooms 2.79 miles of gravel/dirt path - Trail map 220 parking spaces, plus 15 disabled parking stalls Parking fees Clark County charges parking fees year-round at Frenchman's Bar Regional Park. Daily parking fees are: $2 for motorcycles $3 for cars $6 for cars with trailers $8 for buses or motor homes
Yes, bring your leash and a dog harness especially if your dog is not trained or socialized.
They have fire pits already built here
Only in the shelters. And yes now they going to cleaner with new park host.
Depends on what your fishing for........salmon always barbless.....catfish barbed
The sign says 7am - dusk, but you can exit the park after dusk. They only close the entrance gate. The exit has directional spikes so you can exit, but not enter.
The fishing is ok there.. I see people catch fish time to time.
Yes
PDX Triathlon Festival. In Vancouver thanks to covid rules in Oregon....

Not sure it's allowed, but seems enforcement of rules is pretty lax, so doubt anyone would shut you down. My main concern would be finding a place to set it up, as the beach can get pretty crowded and the lawn area above the beach is a) extremely hot, and B) on a hill. Also not sure how you'd get power to it--I haven't seen electrical outlets there.
Yes, it can get super packed.
There is a Stall with staff or a parking permit machine available. It's $3
Yes
Law says keep dogs leashed. Lots of dogs going into the water here and have a lot of fun on and off the leash. Use your own judgement, but the law will always say leash when in a public place.
We caught steelhead. By using a kayak to drip the line 50 yards out
No over night parking unfortunately
No camping ☹️ They shut the gate at dusk. But a beautiful location to hang out, have a picnic and watch the ships go by during the day. There is a fee to enter the park, but if you have the Washington State Discover Pass ($30 for 12 months) that pays for entry. At least it did a few months ago.
Absolutely just make sure you have your fishing license
No breed restrictions. all well behaved dogs on a leash are acceptable. Bring your pooch and enjoy!!
It's as warm as anywhere. There is a common area with a covered area, and shade from the trees. But most of the exposed natural area is sunny.
Maybe in the covered picnic area. Its a beach and a park, not many walls for outlets. If you need electronics that bad its probably not the place to go.
You can barbecue there, on a first come first serve basis, at one of the BBQ grills in the park. There are also three shelters with their own facilities (BBQ grill, running water, electricity) that cost a daily fee to reserve.
Yes. A few of them
No, but someone with a reservation would be able to kick you out. I would recommend making one.
I am not sure - I think it is first come, first served.
