I just began adult violin lessons after decades of not playing and Duane was patient and knowledgeable as he answered all of my questions. He reassured me with his kind demeanor, and so my anxiety over purchasing a violin has been put to rest.

Duane Lasley is an Angel of a man. I took my old violin in to get restrung and ended up walking out with a new (to me) antique violin. He was so patient with my 3yo daughter who clearly wasn’t having fun waiting for me. He did wonders to my cheap old violin, restrung it and went above and beyond to adjust it to sound warmer to my liking. Duane is not only an incredible violin maker and repairman, but a kind old soul who matched me to my instrument taking the time and care to make my musical dreams come true. I was blown away by his professionalism and kindness. 10/10 would recommend him for your violin needs. I spent all my money that day and walked out so much richer than when I walked in.

I brought my violin in to get my bow rehaired and sound post fixed. They returned my violin in a much better condition than I've left it. You can tell they truly really care about their craft and would highly recommend their service.

You can't beat Mr. Lasley for kindness, trustworthiness and honesty. He is so knowledgeable, and clearly loves his work. He knows every violin in his store and is forthright and fair. My husband needed a new violin and bow and Mr. Lasley had a great selection in our price range and explained the industry well to us. While we ended up going with a violin not at Mr. Lasley's store, we still felt we needed to review his shop and recommend him because our experience with him was so positive. We would certainly make this one of our first stops for any future needs.

You must wear a mask. Only one party at the front counter at a time. If there is someone at the counter you will need to wait outside until they leave before entering. If you are sick or feeling unwell please do not come to the shop until you are feeling better and are afebrile.
I am sorry, but I am a violin shop and don't have any helpful knowledge regarding woodwind and brass instruments. Sorry. Duane
