Ordered takeout here and was very impressed with the food quality. It is extremely rare to find a salmon dinner this size at just over $20. I typically don’t order salmon because it’s pretty easy to make at home but this was super tasty and cooked perfectly. Medium well, tender on the inside, crispy on the outside. All of the sides we ordered were also decent sized portions and tasted really good. I tend to set a pretty low bar these days for takeout orders and don’t often review them because they’re usually disappointing but this place was definitely worth talking about. Looking forward to visiting in person some time soon.

It was a beautiful day so we wanted to sit outside. Pro: They have a nice outdoor dog friendly deck, good French fries. Cons: Pretty expensive, $9 beer, and $17 for a small bowl of mussels in a watery sauce, with 2 tiny slices of "bread" dry as a crouton. $80 for some lunch and a couple of beers is a little crazy.

This place has legit wings. Best I’ve ever had… and I’ve had a lot of wings. Plus excellent dog friendly patio seating, friendly attentive bartender. Great vibes and decent prices for the area! Happy hour 3-6pm $8 for 6 delicious wings.

Went there twice on our short trip to Alexandria because we loved our first experience so much. While the second time we were seated in a street tent and the service seemed to be a bit negligent (they forgot to bring a side, although the server was genuinely apologetic for this matter), we absolutely loved the place. The mussels and their namesake platter are both to die for. Try rosé mussels! If you can, get into their heated patio. If there’s a wait, it’s worth the wait. Great selection of beers, plus wines and cocktails. Relaxed and friendly, with the vibe resembling beer gardens in Europe.
