Penny Walker

I went in today to order new glasses. The person that helped me, I believe her name is Jessica, but I could be wrong. Her hair was pink and green, I think. I’m sorry that I can’t remember what she looks like, or her name, but that’s because I was so in awe of her. She had said that she was 34 years old, and that she had her first cataract surgery when she was 11! She has survived cancer, and other things that most people would have died from. She’s really something! Everything she has been through, and she was so upbeat, happy, and knowledgeable at her job. As I was leaving, I asked her if I could give her a hug, and I was allowed to do so. As I was walking away, I told everybody what a survivor she is. Her story touched my heart. She’s a real asset to Walmart Vision Center!

Walked in on time for appointment all employees at front ignored me so I just sat and waited for ten minutes. Got eyes checked by technician then waited over an hour for my actual appointment. Doctor and other staff gossiped about previous apparently difficult client to me while they were still in the waiting room apologizing for taking so long, kinda unprofessional. Should/could have left and got a different exam elsewhere the same day instead of nearly wasting my entire afternoon.

I absolutely love coming here. I know that's a weird thing to say about a Walmart Vision Center, but the staff here is warm, exceptional in their knowledge, and I always feel in capable hands. I won't ever go anywhere else for my assessments if I can help it. Thank you for always making my experience a five-star one!
