A little belated review. I moved in there in Sept 1996 as an international UW grad student with my wife and 3 yr old. We had a great 1 bedroom apartment, albeit a little noisy because of the busy road right out front, but it made us feel right at home. In fact, is had 90% the same floorplan as our place back home. The place was pretty new back then, but the gym was tiny then (with a tanning bed though! Sooo 90s) but is much larger now from the pics I can see online. I remember how warmly the rental office back then took us and how accommodating and helpful they were, even when we had 0 credit and just off the boat. Warm memories and a great place away from home. 5 stars, all the way.

My partner and I lived here for over a year and we're only moving out because we bought a place. The staff at Wharfside are wonderful to work with - we've experienced nothing but the best from the leasing and maintenance staff. Everyone is kind, helpful, and speedy. The grounds and interior are well maintained and the new windows are great. The two pet policy is a big plus. We'll miss it here! The only negative experience we had were a couple of the neighbors (most of them are very pleasant). Around the holidays someone in our building stole packages from our doorstep, took the contents, and left the ripped open packaging in the stairway. Someone on our floor also had frequent parties during the covid lockdowns. Overall though, folks here are nice and keep to themselves.

The Wharfside Pointe staff are extremely attentive and do everything within their power to meet residents' needs. When I first moved in, I had an infinite amount of questions, and Jessica in the Leasing Office answered all of them promptly, accurately, and kindly. I had to move out unexpectedly due to a change in my financial situation. Samantha, the resident manager, offered another unit that would be cheaper/easier for me to move into and would alleviate some financial burden. She did this completely on her own and I GREATLY appreciated the effort and care of this offer. I've dealt with other unit managers at different locations whose accommodating demeanor immediately evaporates the second you notify that you're leaving. This obviously was not the case at Wharfside. Additionally, there was some pet damage to the carpet and it had to be replaced. Again, Samantha informed me in a very compassionate way, knowing that news like that probably isn't what someone wants to hear! They always respond to emails extremely quickly. The area outside of the buildings is very well maintained, and the new windows to all buildings improved the already beautiful units. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the common areas (elevators, stairs, entrance doors, etc) are sanitized a couple of times a day. Their office holds monthly events that are always just so cute and thoughtful, not to mention socially-distant compliant!

The management team is very sweet and helpful. They are doing their best within their policy to help the residents. From my parking request to my new cat moving into the unit, the management team has helped me a lot. The highlight is that my new project started in middle of June and I was asking if I could switch to another ESEEX property in Bellevue. Samantha provided me multiple choices with very detailed information. She also gave me the suggestions helping me to find the right place within my budget! Generally I enjoyed living there. The Nicksoner ST outside of my unit is a little noisy, but it is OK for me to sleep after 11:00pm. And they are replacing the windows now, so it shouldn't be a problem for the future residents. My unit in Wharfside Pointe is 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom. It is spacious and all appliances are stainless finish. We paid around 2600 a month, for such space, I think it is affordable comparing to the new construction apartment which are around 3000-4000 for a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit. Give big " Thanks" to Samantha and the management team for helping me so much when I lived in Wharfside Pointe! I understand sometimes people have disagreement with them, but we need to understand they are doing their best to assist the residents following their company policy and coordinate with residents, like we also do that in our job---- we also need follow our company policy and coordinate with our customers too.
