Everytime I've come in I've been met with nothing but teenagers who have no sense of urgency or others time. Consistently takes 10 to 15 minute longer than necessary.

Cafe Rio has been a all time favorite of my since it first open back in Utah. Over 20 years. I have come to the location at mills for years now since moving here over 7 years ago. I am sad to report that not only is this location fallen far from the standard of Cafe Rio but on top of it tonight, a young gentleman ask me to put a mask on my child and me . I reported I did not have one for me and was more then willing to show my medical exception in my personal health record to prove this and did place a mask on my child as requested. The young employee then proceeded to tell another staff member to give me a mask as the very employee telling me I had to wear theirs while wearing his own not even properly over his nose etc. After ordering my food and getting to the end of the line. I asked who was the manager on shift tonight the sweet check out girl got me the manager which I then requested if you are going to have an employee in force the mask mandate like that then he and another team member should hold to the same standard while serving me and wearing his mask properly also. So disappointing in the location and quality of its food. To the rest of the team members working hard wearing there masks properly as enforced by the bussiness thank you for not being hypocrites.

I fell in love with this, if I had one nearby I'd eat here often. All of the menu options have just about the same ingredients, only put together in a different way. I had the tostada with their chicken and their green sauce (I don't remember what it's called but it was delicious). Try the 3 leches really good. They also have a very refreshing minty drink (if you like mint this is for you). Everything was delicious, we ate at Cafe Rio twice during our 7 day trip. Once in Vernal, Utah and in Denver, Colorado. 😊
